Camel wool has excellent insulating properties that make it a great choice for blankets and quilts. It retains heat well in winter, but due to its breathability, it does not cause sweating, unlike artificial materials such as polyester. In addition, its natural, water-repellent (hydrophobic) properties make it very resistant to sweat, which is suitable for people who have a problem with night sweats.

Camel wool is hypoallergenic
Camel wool is considered hypoallergenic . Most allergies to wool, usually sheep, are reactions to lanolin, a fatty substance secreted by animals that have wool. However, camels show a special characteristic in that they produce significantly less lanolin, which makes camel wool less allergenic.
Ecologically sustainable and acceptable natural material
Camel hair is also a sustainable and environmentally friendly choice. Camels can survive in arid and semi-arid areas where other livestock would not be able to survive. This means that camel wool production has a lower environmental impact than many other types of wool production.
No violence against animals
Unlike other animals that must be sheared to obtain their wool, Bactrian camels naturally shed their hair in late spring or early summer. This means that camel hair is a more sustainable source and there are fewer concerns about animal abuse during the harvesting process, as is the case with other types of wool. Camels do not have to be tied down and exposed to the possibility of injury in order to have their wool collected; farmers can simply wait for the camels to shed all their hair.
