I. About the Product and Material

Question : Why choose a camel wool duvet instead of standard sheep wool or feathers?

Answer : Camel wool is extremely light, and at the same time provides excellent thermoregulation. This means that it warms you in winter, but also actively cools you in summer, because wool can absorb and release moisture up to 30% of its weight without feeling damp. This is why our duvets are ideal for use all year round (all-season).

Question : Is a camel wool duvet suitable for allergy sufferers or children?

Answer : Yes, camel wool is naturally hypoallergenic because it does not attract dust or mites to the extent that other materials do. Its structure and the dry environment it creates make it unfavorable for the development of allergens.

Question : Where does the wool come from and is it ethically sourced?

Answer : We only use fine hair from the Bactrian camel. The wool is not sheared, but collected during the natural spring molting of the animals. This ensures humane and ethical procurement of raw materials. We also take care of the recycling of packaging material and try to use only as much as is necessary to protect the product, and we participate financially in ensuring that this waste is disposed of in an ecological way.

II. Maintenance and Care

Question : How do you maintain camel wool duvets? Can I wash them in the washing machine?

Answer : We recommend minimal washing, as wool has self-cleaning properties. Regular airing in fresh air (but not in direct sunlight) is sufficient to neutralize odors and renew the fibers. If washing is necessary, we recommend professional dry cleaning or gentle hand washing of smaller parts of the duvet. Machine washing and drying are not recommended.

Question : How often should I air my duvet and how do I do it?

Answer : We recommend airing your duvet once a month, or more often if possible. Leave it to air out in a shady spot, ideally with a light breeze. Airing helps the fibres to "relax" and regain their volume.

III. Dimensions and Warranty

Question : What does "grammage" mean and how do I choose the right weight?

Answer : Grammage (g/m²) indicates the density of the filling. The higher the grammage, the warmer the duvet.

Low grammage (e.g. 150-250 g/m²): thin summer/lightweight duvet.

Medium weight (e.g. 300-450 g/m²): All-season duvet.

High grammage (e.g. 500+ g/m²): Winter/Extra warm duvet.

Our duvets are 1000 g/m², which means that no cold can surprise you, and it is very comfortable for autumn/spring due to its thermoregulation and "breathing" properties. And in the summer, let's be realistic, you need little or nothing😀.

Question : The duvet smells like wool (camel) when I take it out of the packaging. Is this normal?

Answer : Yes, this is completely normal for natural materials. Although wool is processed, the slight, natural smell usually disappears or diminishes after a few days of thorough airing in the air. After all, a slight smell is just a confirmation that you have an original product made from natural material and not a synthetic copy.

Question : Is it possible to get a custom-made duvet, e.g. an extended king size?

Answer : We offer standard dimensions of 150x200cm, 200x230cm and 220x240cm, which we believe cover the vast majority of needs. If you need a special dimension, please contact us by e-mail. We will be happy to check the production possibilities and the delivery time for a custom-made quilt.

IV. Quality and Durability

Question : How long does a camel wool duvet retain its properties?

Answer : With proper maintenance (regular airing and minimal washing), a camel wool duvet can last 10 to 15 years. The fibers are extremely elastic and durable, retaining their volume longer than many other natural materials. Inside information - Moja Device owners have had theirs for 10 years and it's still the same today as it was on day one😀.

Question : Can I use a classic bed sheet for this duvet?

Answer : Yes, of course, the duvet is used inside a standard bed sheet. We recommend using a breathable cotton or linen cover to fully utilize the thermoregulatory benefits of camel wool.

V. Logistics and Delivery

 

Question : What is the shipping cost and how soon can I expect delivery?

Answer : We have great news – delivery is FREE for every duvet order throughout the Republic of Croatia!

We send orders by courier service, and the delivery time is usually 2-3 working days from the confirmation of the order. Please note that courier services do not pick up orders on Saturdays and Sundays.

Question : Do you ship quilts outside of Croatia (e.g. to the EU)?

Answer: Yes, we deliver our products to 13 other EU countries (Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Denmark, Italy and Romania). For details please see here

 

Question : Will my duvet be compressed in transit and how do I restore it to its full volume?

Answer: We do not vacuum pack duvets as this is not good for natural materials, so there is virtually no compression. When the package arrives, simply remove it from the packaging. The duvet needs a few hours (ideally 24 hours) of airing to regain its full volume and elasticity of the fibers.

Answer: We accept the following payment methods:

Question: Is card payment on your web shop safe?

Answer: All credit card payments made through our website are processed through Shopify Payments or other reputable third-party payment processors, all of which are fully compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). This globally recognized standard is designed to maintain a secure environment for handling cardholder data. Our store is hosted on Shopify, which provides a secure, SSL-encrypted checkout process. SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption ensures that all data transmitted between your browser and our website remains private and secure. When you enter your credit card information during checkout, that information is encrypted and sent directly to the payment processor - we never store or have access to your full card details.

Question: Can I pay in installments?

Answer: You can if your card and bank, i.e. the credit institution that issues it, allow it, you have to check with them.

VIII. Quality guarantee

 

Question: Does the duvet smell change over time or after washing?

Answer: No. Camel wool duvets naturally repel odors and do not retain body odor or sweat. If the duvet is aired out, it will maintain its neutrality. Proper washing (dry cleaning recommended by a professional service) will not change the neutral odor and properties of the wool.
